Shohet Ear Associates to Open Brand New Location in Seal Beach, CA

SEAL BEACH, Calif., April 29, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Shohet Ear Associates, the only practice able to treat patients for all medical and surgical options available for hearing loss, provided free hearing test at the 2013 Health Expo in Seal Beach California. Shohet Ear Associates has been serving Orange County and Los Angeles County for over 10 years and has decided to expand their location into Seal Beach, CA. To familiarize themselves with the community, Audiologists of Shohet Ear Associates attended the Seal Beach Health Expo to provide hearing exams free of charge.  Along with this service, Shohet Ear Associates held a booth where hearing loss information, water bottle belt clips, and earplugs were passed out.

The annual Seal Beach "Be More Healthy Expo" provides a place for the community to learn about living a healthy life style, see demonstrations, and receive health screenings. Admission is open to the public and features over 75 exhibitors. One of those attending exhibitors were Shohet Ear Associates. Teaming up with the Seal Beach Lions Club, Shohet Ear Associates staffed the Lions international van and performed nearly 70 hearing exams throughout the day. Many attendees have a new awareness on their level of hearing and some were surprised by the results they have received.

According to the American Speech- Language-Hearing association, approximately 28 million Americans have hearing impairment and at least 12 million Americans have tinnitus. Dr. Jack Shohet and his team, Cheryl Tanita, MaryKay Bishop, Arineh Khachatoorians, Chelsea Robbins, Samantha Godby, and Mary Bowers, and Anja Arko, attended the expo to do their part for the community.
