ShopAtHome.com Launches "Coupon Idol" Video Contest in Celebration of Reaching One Million Facebook Fans

DENVER, May 2, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- ShopAtHome.com, the largest free coupons and cash back site on the web, today announced the launch of its first annual Coupon Idol video contest.  The contest will award $8,000 in prizes to the most creative home-made music videos that celebrate couponing and saving money using the web. Entries must contain the words "coupons" and "ShopAtHome.com" in the lyrics and videos cannot run longer than 60 seconds. Winners will be selected by votes from our online community as well as a panel of judges from ShopAtHome.com. The grand prize winner will receive $3,000; the second place winner will receive $2,000; the third place winner will receive $1,000; the fourth and fifth place winners will receive $500 each and five runners-up will receive $100 each. Of the winning videos selected by the judges, the video that attracts the most views on YouTube will receive an additional People's Choice prize in the amount of $500. Winners will be announced in early June 2011.
