Shopkins Takes Home Award At 2017 Licensing Expo In Las Vegas
LAS VEGAS, May 25, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Global phenomenon Shopkins continues to dominate, winning yet another industry award at the 2017 LIMA International Licensing Awards. The brand, which recently moved up an incredible 84 spots to number 53 in the Top 150 Global Licensors report, took home the award for the Best Food and Beverage for their Finsbury Shopkins cupcakes at the "Oscars of the Licensing Industry" in Las Vegas.
This win is further recognition for the brand which had traditionally seen success in the traditional toy space and is now becoming a powerhouse franchise.
In 2016, Shopkins finished the year with over $1billion of retail sales and as the number 1 girls brand in nine categories in the US including apparel (basics and sleep), bedding, party, kids stationery, accessories, seasonal and home.
