Showering Love to Unveil New Mobile Shower Facility
POMPANO BEACH, Fla., Aug. 31, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Showering Love, Inc. (a 501 (c)3 nonprofit organization) will be unveiling a mobile shower facility, which will provide service for people experiencing homelessness, during a ribbon cutting and press conference on August 31, 2017 at 11:30 am at Our Father's House Soup Kitchen. The Hon. Lamar Fisher, Mayor of Pompano Beach, is expected to cut the ribbon on the bus. Broward Sheriff's Office Homeless Task Force will be in attendance as well as other local dignitaries who have been invited to participate.

In October 2016, Showering Love, Inc. purchased a 44-passenger bus and converted it into a completely self-contained restroom and shower facility that could be stationed at any appropriate location in order to provide service to homeless individuals.
"The bus has been transformed into something that our community can be very proud of. It has surpassed all my expectations from what I had envisioned it could ever be," said Jeanne Lewis, CEO/President and Founder. SHOWERING LOVE, INC. is a nonprofit 501(c)3 organization based in Broward County Florida and provides services to homeless individuals. Their mission is to restore dignity and share hope with people who are homeless by providing weekly showers and supplying "love bags" that include food, clothing and hygiene products, to meet them where they are and to establish rapport with the homeless community. In order to maintain their support of the homeless population, they welcome companies who can provide support through monetary or in-kind contributions.
