
Siemens Selects Charlotte for Upcoming Answers for Industry Conference
A Two-day Conference Focused on Enhancing Competitiveness Through Efficient Manufacturing, Green Buildings and Renewable Energy
ATLANTA, May 4 /PRNewswire/ -- Siemens Industry, Inc. today announced that as a part of its continuing effort to bring its energy efficient and sustainable technology and solutions directly to customers where they live and work, it would host its next Answers for Industry (AFI) Conference in Charlotte, N.C., June 8 - 9, 2010 at the Charlotte Convention Center.
AFI is a two-day conference designed for manufacturers, engineers, OEMs, integrators and end users. There is no cost to attend the conference, but registration is required. Attendees can customize their conference experience by choosing from 32 seminars in five tracks: Automation, Motors & Drives, Sustainability, Water & Environmental, and Electrical. They can choose to attend the conference a half day, one day or both days.
In addition to seminars, the conference will feature networking, best practice sharing and the Siemens Product Showcase, a 12,000-square-foot technology exhibit where they can experience the latest in Siemens products, systems and solutions in an informal, hands-on environment. Siemens technology experts, partners, distributors and senior executives will also be on hand to discuss how they can employ Siemens solutions for their specific business applications.
