NEW YORK, March 3 /PRNewswire/ -- Siesko Partners, LLC, an insurance coverage and claims services law firm, announced today that it will not be merging with several London-based law firms, as has been speculated recently.
While an alliance between a London law firm and David Siesko-led Siesko Partners may have been attractive, the parties decided to not move forward at this time.
Siesko, former Chief Claim Officer for Zurich Financial Services Global Corporate Division, spent a portion of his career working at the London law firm Lovells, plus his global claims management role included supervision of Zurich Financial Service's UK Division, among other European Divisions. For these reasons, Siesko Partners potentially could have provided an ideal conduit for a London-firm's growth into the U.S. market.
"While I can confirm that we have had some serious conversations with London firms regarding potential synergies, these discussions have come to an end," said Siesko. "Siesko Partners remains focused on developing its core business of resolving complex coverage disputes and enhancing our carrier clients' claims management operations."
While Siesko Partners is no longer actively pursuing potential opportunities in the London legal market, Siesko made clear that opportunities for growth in new directions are always being considered and are welcome. "While we remain committed to our coverage practice, we continue to focus on opportunities that enhance our position and allow our firm to grow."
