Siftsort.com to Donate $1 to Toys-For-Tots for Every Facebook 'Like' Received by December 15, up to $5,000

NEW YORK, Dec. 3, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- After Hurricane Sandy ravaged New York City, Staten Island and the New Jersey area, many families were displaced after losing their homes. As victims slowly put back the pieces of their shattered lives, it's particularly difficult during the holiday season.

"It's just disheartening to think that there are needy families who won't be able to give their kids gifts this holiday season," says Siftsort.com CEO Darren Conte. "Everyone should do what they can to put a smile on the face of these kids," he says.

After Hurricane Sandy had hit the area, Siftsort.com CEO and his staff were volunteering and assisting affected families by delivering donated furniture, supplies and fuel for generators. "It was a good start, but with Christmas around the corner, there is more we can do," explains Conte. 

For every 'Like' they receive at www.facebook.com/siftsort by December 15th, Siftsort.com will donate $1 to Toys-For-Tots, up to $5,000, so that they can provide toys to needy children in the New York area, in time for Christmas. "Our hope is to put a smile on the face of some kids and their parents this holiday season," Conte says. "We are a small company and can only do so much, but maybe this will inspire bigger companies to do the same," he says.
