Sigby Unveils "Fun for Funds" Program To Aid Seattle-Area School Fundraising
Schools can raise hundreds or thousands of dollars through new program to share profits every time a parent buys an activity for their children

Schools receive $3 for every activity booked on Sigby.com, $1.25 for each parent who registers through the program, and $30 for each activity provider referred to Sigby by school parents.
Fun for Funds is a free program for the school, PTA or families. More than ten Seattle-area schools are already taking part in the initial pilot. "With a few hundred students doing summer camps, sports, dance classes and tutoring, the money can add up fast," said Deborah Sigler, head of fundraising at View Ridge Elementary School PTA. "This is a no-brainer for parents and schools. It doesn't cost the parents a dime and it's free money for the schools."
Unlike traditional fundraisers, Sigby allows PTAs to earn money throughout the year, even during the summer, an especially busy time for Sigby. In addition, there is no need to keep track of any cards or goods; Sigby's program does it automatically.
