Signal to Noise Hires Stephanie Ouyoumjian in New Post as Director of Strategy
Renowned Brand Strategist and Marketing to Women Expert Ouyoumjian Adds Unique Dimension & Skill Set to New SF Agency
SAN FRANCISCO, Jan. 24, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Signal to Noise hires Stephanie Ouyoumjian, a leading brand strategist and strategic planning innovator, in the new post, Director of Strategy, reporting to Jordan Warren, President and CEO. Ouyoumjian comes from Publicis in Dallas where she was Director of Strategic Planning since 2006. Ouyoumjian has a 15-year track record of strengthening agency insight development and leading clients to business-building strategies. Ouyoumjian is also a national expert in marketing to women, and is the recipient of multiple awards for her work in that space.
In her new role, Ouyoumjian will build out the strategic planning capability at Signal to Noise. Her department will manage the process that informs, articulates and strategically expresses each client's "signal."
Ouyoumjian is known for her non-traditional ways of discovering and generating insights. "Signal already does a phenomenal job of informing their marketing programs by leveraging data from the digital space. I want to marry that with insights gathered from all aspects of people's lives," Ouyoumjian says.
Warren stated, "We're developing a new breed of agency, one that draws on the best of both digital and traditional marketing. By adding someone of Stephanie's stature, we're combining the kind of insight and strategy clients expect from their agency of record with our extensive digital expertise. This move is about further establishing ourselves as a digital agency that's ready to lead."
Ouyoumjian stated, "Today's biggest group of consumers was born digital. This will only continue to grow. So I'm thrilled to be at an agency that was also born digital. But I joined Signal because it's more than a digital agency. They're building the agency around their clients' 'signals' and doing whatever it takes to make those signals heard and loved."
Prior to Publicis, Ouyoumjian co-created and acted as SVP and Director for Frank About Women, a marketing hub of expertise within Mullen. Prior, she was Director of Strategic Planning at The Integer Group and before that, President Clarity Consulting and VP/Account Planner at TM Advertising, all in Dallas. She started her planning career at The Richards Group and holds BA degrees in Women's Studies and Anthropology from Southern Methodist University.
