Silvernest Names Barbara O'Connor as Chief Marketing Officer
Also adds noted internist and geriatrician Thomas Cudjoe to board of advisors
DENVER and SAN FRANCISCO, Oct. 9, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Silvernest, a unique online roommate-matching service for boomers and empty nesters, today announced that Barbara O'Connor has joined the company's executive team as its chief marketing officer (CMO) and Thomas Cudjoe has been named to its advisory board.
O'Connor, who is based in Silicon Valley, will lead Silvernest's national marketing strategy, including brand marketing, digital marketing, and customer and influencer campaigns. She will also be instrumental in driving business growth by developing new demand generation programs.
A 25-year marketing veteran, O'Connor has extensive experience working with top-tier consumer and technology companies, as well as numerous Silicon Valley startups. Her career includes serving as the CMO of Move, the parent company of real estate websites such as realtor.com and SeniorHousingNet. O'Connor also spent more than a decade at Yahoo!, most recently as its vice president of marketing, and held a senior marketing role at Apple.
