Sinclair Promotes James Grilli To General Manager In Dayton, Ohio

DAYTON, Ohio, Sept. 18, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Sinclair Broadcast Group, Inc. (Nasdaq: SBGI) ("Sinclair") announced that James Grilli has been promoted to General Manager of WKEF (ABC) in Dayton, Ohio.  Mr. Grilli will also be responsible for the oversight of Sinclair's provision of services to WRGT (FOX) under a time brokerage agreement.  The announcement was made by Steve Marks, EVP & Chief Operating Officer of Sinclair's television group.

In making the announcement, Mr. Marks said, "Jimmy has been with Sinclair in Columbus for 14 years in a variety of sales roles, from account executive working his way up to Director of Sales.  His sales and management experience will benefit the Dayton stations and provide for a smooth continuity in leadership and operations."

Mr. Grilli most recently worked as Director of Sales at WSYX (ABC6), WTTE (FOX28) and WWHO (CW Columbus), stations Sinclair owns and/or provides services to in Columbus, Ohio, since January 2017.  Prior to that and since 2014, he served as General Sales Manager for WTTE.  Mr. Grilli began his career with Sinclair in 2003 as an Account Executive for WTTE and was later promoted to National Sales Manager and then Director of National Sales.   Mr. Grilli holds a Bachelor of Science in Communication from Ohio University.
