Sing with a Mercury-nominated band in Italy

Singing Holidays has created this trip-of-a-lifetime with Rachel and Becky Unthank, the sisters behind one of Britain's most successful folk acts - the only one to feature in Uncut's "best albums of the decade."

Arriving next June, guests will have three hours of vocal tuition every morning, in a landscape as timeless as the folk ballads they'll learn. And on the fifth and final day, vocal chords sufficiently tuned, a concert in the main piazza of a medieval hill town. Ever performed with a Mercury Prize nominee? Nor have we!

Like a well-strummed guitar, accommodation is the perfect accompaniment - a series of renovated peasant homes (a concept known as alberghi diffusi) strewn, along with late-spring flowers, through Santo Stefano di Sessanio. The five-night trip culminates in a performance at the famous Michaelerkirche, a baton's throw from the Hofburg Palace, accompanied by members of the Vienna Chamber Orchestra.
