SinglePoint Care Network Appoints Joan Russo, Chief Executive Officer

NEW YORK, Dec. 4, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- SinglePoint Care Network, a joint venture of Selfhelp Community Services and FEGS Health & Human Services, has appointed Joan Russo as Chief Executive Officer.  Ms. Russo, a nationally recognized managed care expert, will lead the company in providing specialty care management services, home care coordination and community-based social services for long term managed care, to enable individuals to live healthier, more independent lives.

Prior to joining SinglePoint, Ms. Russo held leadership positions in the managed care industry, most recently as Senior Vice President of Care Delivery with Affinity Health Plan, Inc., President of the Northeast Region of Great-West Healthcare, and in executive positions with Cigna HealthCare and Prudential.  She holds a JD from St. John's University and was a Senior Attorney Associate with Lifshutz, Polland & Associates for ten years, advising healthcare systems, IPA physician groups and technology organizations on healthcare matters and other transactional legal matters.
