Sino-Global Hires Yuquan Tian as Chief Technical Officer

NEW YORK, Dec. 23, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Sino-Global Shipping America, Ltd. (NasdaqCM: SINO) ("Sino-Global" or the "Company"), an international shipping agency and logistic services provider, today announced that it has hired Yuquan ("Steven") Tian as its Chief Technical Officer ("CTO"). Mr. Tian brings to Sino-Global more than 15 years of experience working in the shipping industry in China. Since 1996, Mr. Tian has served as general manager of several shipping agencies in both Dalian and Yingkou cities of Liaoning Province.

Most recently, Mr. Tian established Taichi Shipping Agency Dalian ("Taichi"), which has long-term cooperation arrangements with some of China's major steel companies, grain enterprises and shipping corporations. Mr. Tian's duties with Sino-Global will include the streamlining and development of the Company's operating policies and procedures, assistance with the standardization of business processes related to our shipping agency, chartering, brokerage, inland transportation and logistics services, and the implementation of best practices into our work flows across the various operating units in Sino-Global.
