Sirius Solutions Appoints New Leader in Transaction Advisory Services

Business consulting firm adds 20-year veteran with banking and energy expertise

HOUSTON, April 10, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Sirius Solutions, L.L.L.P. (Sirius Solutions) today announced the appointment of Steve Young as Director to lead their Transaction Advisory Services practice. Steve has over 20 years of energy and banking experience in acquisition due diligence, commercial asset management, structured finance and commercial lending. He will join the Houston office of Sirius Solutions and focus on clients in the oil & gas, banking, and private equity sectors.

Steve most recently led the effort by Eureka Resources (a portfolio company of Haddington Ventures) to evaluate potential acquisitions for expansion of its water treatment operations in the Marcellus and Utica Shale. He previously led commercial management of key assets in the Eastern Gulf of Mexico while at Williams Midstream. Other prior roles include responsibility for the risk assessment and controls group in the London office of Enron Europe and executive management positions at Enron North America, Fuji Bank Limited, Brown & Root, and Texas Commerce Bank. Steve holds BBA and MBA degrees in accounting and finance, respectively, from Baylor University.
