From February to May, Skate Buds International Corporation sponsored a 12 week after-school pilot fitness camp for the Boys and Girls Club of Mesquite, Texas. The 12 week after-school fitness camp offered students ages 5 – 13 the opportunity to receive physical activity and exercise two times per week, sixty minutes per workout. Skate Buds Get Fit Stay Fit fitness camp provides students the opportunity to increase flexibility through functional stretching, core strengthening, and building muscle strength and endurance through plyometric exercise. Skate Bud, strap-on heel skates provides a great opportunity for students to receive cardiovascular exercise for increased heart rate and lung capacity. Skate Buds allow students the ability to walk, run, and heel skate providing opportunity for moderate to vigorous intensity cardiovascular exercise. Skate Buds are recommended for ages 5 and up. Skate Buds hold up to 250 pounds.
