SkyWest, Inc. Reports Combined October Traffic for SkyWest Airlines and Atlantic Southeast Airlines

ST. GEORGE, Utah, Nov. 9, 2010 /PRNewswire/ -- SkyWest, Inc. (Nasdaq: SKYW) ("SkyWest") reported an 11.3 percent increase in departures to 80,530 for October compared to 72,335 for the same period last year. Passenger boardings for October increased 10.9 percent to 3,306,720 compared to 2,981,682 for the same period last year.  SkyWest also reported an 9.6 percent increase in revenue passenger miles (RPMs) for October, while available seat miles (ASMs) increased 10.8 percent compared to October 2009.  The combined airlines generated 1.64 billion RPMs for the month, while ASMs increased to 2.06 billion.  Load factor was 79.4 percent compared to 80.3 percent, down .9 percentage points compared to October 2009.
