TEMECULA, Calif., March 26, 2012  /PRNewswire/ -- Outdoor Channel, America's Leader in Outdoor TV, today announced plans for a pre-game gathering with Comcast XFINITY TV at the Boston Celtics game against the Utah Jazz on Wednesday, March 28th. Taking over the Comcast HD Zone at TD Garden, Outdoor Channel and XFINITY TV will be hosting meet-and-greets with Celtics legend and avid outdoorsman, Dave Cowens, along with raffling off prizes and giveaways throughout the duration of the ball game for both sports fans and outdoor enthusiasts to enjoy.

In addition to Dave Cowens' appearance, those watching the game at the TD Garden will have a chance to win prizes in the HD Zone, along with the opportunity to score an iPad —as parachutes will be dropped from the ceiling throughout the TD Garden seats during the first half of the game, with one lucky winner to receive the winning ticket.

The meet-and-greet with Dave Cowens will be at the HD Zone, located on the fourth floor concourse at 6:30 p.m. ET, prior to the game tip-off at 7:30 p.m. ET on March 28th. The winner of the iPad giveaway will be able to retrieve their grand prize at the HD Zone during half time.

Outdoor Channel is available in Boston on XFINITY Channels 255, 127 and 259 as part of the Digital Preferred tier.
