SlimCleaner Plus™ Software Now Includes Privacy Tools for Windows® 10 Operating System

SlimCleaner Plus lets users customize their operating system's privacy settings to disable, or limit, features in Windows® 10 that collect and report data to Microsoft. • Disable settings that collect information for targeted advertising and location services, as well as information about typed and written words.
• Limit feedback and diagnostics settings that collect usage data from a device, including system files or memory snapshots, which may unintentionally include parts of a document a user was working on when a problem occurred.
• Deactivate the Wi-Fi Sense feature, which automatically connects users to open Wi-Fi networks and can share password-protected Wi-Fi networks with users' contacts to give them Internet access on those networks.
• Stop the "Getting to Know You" feature, which allows Microsoft to collect speech, inking, and typing information, including contacts, calendar information, and typed and handwritten words, when users interact with Windows by speaking, writing (handwriting), or typing. This also prevents activation of Cortana®, Microsoft's digital assistant, which gathers information such as device location and location history, contacts, voice input, searching history, calendar details, content and communication history from messages and apps, and other information, to deliver personalized messages.
