PHILADELPHIA, June 12, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Having slow Internet is painful. Speedify is a new service that lets users combine WiFi, 3G, 4G, and wired connections to make just about anything you do online seamless and lightning fast.
Speedify uses Speed Servers in the cloud to intelligently spread both upload and download traffic across multiple Internet connections to give users a speed boost. The servers boost both speed and reliability. Speedify even accelerates uploads to Dropbox and Google Drive, and video streaming from YouTube and Netflix.
Speedify has been in Beta for a year. With the help of 3,000 beta users, the Speedify team fine-tuned the software and rolled out a global network of Speed Servers. "Spending the last twelve months in Early Access Beta proved crucial to making Speedify fast for our users all over the world," said Connectify CEO, Alex Gizis. "Our legion of beta testers performance tested each new server we spun up with a variety of Internet connections from carriers across the globe. It's a feat that couldn't have been accomplished any other way, and it's a testament to the power of crowdsourcing."
The Speedify service is available for purchase at the company's website, speedify.com. The service is available for both Windows and OS X. Subscriptions are offered at two tiers, 50 GB per month and Unlimited.
Speedify is a new product from Connectify, the team that created Connectify Hotspot. Over 40 million users worldwide use Hotspot to turn their computers into Wi-Fi hotspots and share their Internet connections. With Speedify, the team is continuing its mission to make it easier to get fast and reliable Internet access.
