S'MAC Announces the S'MACdown
S'MAC launches a create-your-own macaroni and cheese competition where the winning recipe will be featured on the S'MAC menu
NEW YORK, April 30, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- To celebrate the restaurant's growth and expansion into their new Murray Hill location, The Spark Group and Sarita's Macaroni and Cheese (S'MAC) are launching the S'MACdown, a create-your-own macaroni and cheese competition. Starting on May 6, 2013, S'MAC will allow their fans to create the mac & cheese dish of their dreams and no ingredient is off limits! Mac lovers must submit an ingredient list and a photo of their concoctions via the S'MAC Facebook page. Fans will then vote for their favorite recipes through May 12, 2013 and the top five entrants with the most votes will attend a live judging at S'MAC Murray Hill on May 19, 2013 to determine the winner.
The panel of three judges includes S'MAC owner Sarita Ekya, Barbara Rich, consulting chef for S'MAC, and Tom Birchard, owner of Veselka. The winning recipe will be featured on the menu of all S'MAC locations for one month during 2013 and the winner will receive ten $10 S'MAC gift certificates to distribute among their friends and family. An infographic that provides a step-by-step explanation of the submission process has been attached and linked here: http://photos.prnewswire.com/prnh/20130430/NY04230-INFO.
