Smart Electric launched a Kickstarter project to fund the manufacturing and marketing of Smart Bulb, its first line of consumer lighting products.

The Smart Bulb Dimming Night Light™ fades from full light to night light in 20 minutes. Intended to solve the nightly dilemma of fear of darkness faced by parents of young children, the light shines brightly and dims to a night light level.   

Signaling for help in case of an emergency, the Smart Bulb Emergency Flasher™ will alert emergency responders to the location. It can also be used to indicate the location for a delivery or party. 

The three other shatter-resistant, game-changing bulbs rolling out this summer include:

• Smart Bulb 4-Level Dimmer™ features four levels of light, including 100-, 75-, 50- and 25-watts, and one filament.

Tough coated and shatter-resistant, Smart Bulbs fit in any standard base socket making installation easy. In addition, Smart Electric's patented Soft Start© technology extends the life of its incandescent bulbs by two to three times the lifespan of the average light bulb.
