SmartBug Media Enhances PR Department with Industry Veteran Jennifer Tolkachev

In this role, Jennifer will lead SmartBug's PR department, working to create new business opportunities while directing efforts to increase brand awareness and promote thought leadership for existing clients.

Prior to joining SmartBug in December 2018, Tolkachev owned and worked as the Creative Director for Sprout Creative, a consulting company that offered creative writing, public relations, and marketing communications services. Her corporate, agency, nonprofit, and media expertise enabled her to masterfully manage PR and communications activities and strategies for companies of all sizes.

Tolkachev got her start in public relations working for a high-profile United States Senator. After that, she honed her skills in the booming hi-tech industry, working both in-house and at several PR agencies. Tolkachev then opened her own consulting agency where she branched out to represent B2B and B2C clients in a variety of industries, including green tech, legal, financial, medical, architectural, sports, and entertainment. She has nearly 25 years of experience in public relations, media relations, corporate communications, and project management.
