"Smartest 17 Year Old" Expects $2 Million in Sales after Shark Tank Appearance
MANDEVILLE, La., Oct. 5, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Budding entrepreneur Jack Danos and his father Jeff appeared on ABC's "Shark Tank" this past Friday, September 30th with their invention: the TactiBite Fish Call. It's a cool new product that helps fishermen catch more fish!

A big highlight of the show was when Robert Herjavec commented that Jack must be the smartest 17 year old in the world. Their sales are up so much since the airing that they expect $2 Million in revenue by Christmas!
The father-son duo began working on the project two years ago when Jack got his first 3D Printer. Jack taught himself the engineering and design skills necessary to take Tactibite through the entire prototyping process. He has also built their website and has done the graphics editing, video editing and social media marketing to date.
After a very successful Kickstarter campaign where they raised over 1,000% of their $10K goal, TactiBite began mass-producing their electronic fish attractor and selling via their website www.TheFishCall.com.
Since the airing of their Shark Tank episode just a few days ago, Jack and Jeff have totally blown away all of their previous sales records and expect to sell over $2 million worth of product by the end of the year.
Most impressive is the way young Jack stood his ground in front of Mark Cuban, Daymond John, Kevin O'Leary, Lori Greiner, and Robert Herjavec by eloquently defending his company's valuation of $1.5 Million. When "Mr. Wonderful" Kevin O'leary came in with an offer that de-valued TactiBite by 50%, Jack immediately asked if he could explain the initial valuation. After stating the reasons behind his numbers, all 5 sharks agreed that the valuation was fair. Daymond John and Lori Grenier then proceeded make offers, both at a reduced valuation. The Danos' ultimately decided to go with Robert Herjavec's after he offered exactly what they went in asking for: $150,000 for a 10% equity stake in TactiBite.
