SensoMotoric Instruments (SMI) and its partners invite participants of the Society for Neuroscience 2013 conference in San Diego/USA (Nov 9-13, 2013) to learn more about the interplay of visual experience and neuronal activity and the mechanisms of behavior and cognition. At the SMI floor show, experts demonstrate how modern eye tracking technology perfectly fits into multimodal and mobile study designs in cognitive neuroscience, experimental psychology and other domains. The deep integration of Eye Tracking, EEG and stimulus presentation technology, allows researchers to gain better understanding of attention and learning and to develop new gaze-based experimental designs and brain computer interfaces. With the wearable SMI Eye Tracking Glasses 2.0, more possibilities arise for mobile paradigms in social attention or clinical rehabilitation studies with children and clinical populations.

The SMI floor show at SfN 2013 results from a close collaboration of SensoMotoric Instruments and leading partners in scientific instruments. SMI will guide attendants through the process of using the recently launched SMI Eye Tracking Glasses 2.0 which directly record to a Samsung Galaxy S4 smart phone and SMI's contact-free scientific grade RED remote eye tracking devices combined with wireless EEG. Psychology Software Tools, Inc will demonstrate how to empower experimental stimulation paradigms with 'single-click' acquisition of SMI eye tracking data. BIOPAC Systems, Inc will present the integration of SMI eye tracking data in Biopac's AcqKnowledge biosignal analysis software. Brain Products GmbH will show full data importation and analysis support for SMI eye tracking data in Brain Vision Analyzer Professional. And g.tec Medical Engineering GmbH will demonstrate how the integration of SMI eye tracking in g.tec's BCI EEG systems allows for gaze enabled multimodal BCI acquisition paradigms.
