WALLINGFORD, Conn., Feb. 6, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Connecticut Screen Works announced today that they are extending their sales reach into the retail arena with the release of a PVC version of their top selling Snapp insect screening system. This is the company's first product line specifically targeted at the retail market and residential do-it-yourself home repair and remodeling customers.

The one-piece screening channel is unique because it is adaptable to the full spectrum of shapes, sizes and configurations. PVC Snapp can be used for arches, angles, out of square openings and is an excellent choice for highly corrosive shoreline environments as well as installation in direct contact with treated lumber. Application and usage is basically limited only by the customer's creativity.

"Several retailers have shown interest in stocking the PVC version of our popular Snapp Screen System." "We are predicting solid sales and product line growth over the next year and expect to gain a firm footing in the retail market," company Vice-President Michael Caruso stated. "Our product and market testing lead us to believe that the PVC version of our Snapp Screen System will compete strongly against other products targeting the same do-it-yourself and home repair customers," Caruso further stated.

PVC Snapp will be offered in 99" stock lengths - which can be butted together for large openings - and in pre-packaged porch screening "project" kits.

The Snapp Screen System is available through the Connecticut Screen Works Authorized Dealer network, directly from Connecticut Screen Works and soon, through a variety of retailers. Customers may obtain additional information by going to, or contacting Connecticut Screen Works directly at 203.741.0859.

Dealer, Distributor, and Retailer inquiries are welcome.
