Snarf's Sandwiches Is Turning 20 Years Old

Company celebrates by rewarding customers with Golden Tickets and plans for continued Front Range growth

DENVER, April 6, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Since 1996, Snarf's has been serving its signature, oven-toasted sandwiches to its loyal followers on the Front Range and beyond. What started as a ramshackle building in downtown Boulder has now grown to more than 20 stores in Colorado, St. Louis, Chicago and Austin, Texas. The homegrown Colorado sandwich shop is now planning its milestone 20th birthday but isn't stopping there.

"As part of our 20-year 'Snarferbration', we're planning many ways to say thank you and reward our 'Snarfers' who have supported us throughout the years," said founder and CEO Jimmy Seidel, a.k.a. "Snarf". "I'm truly humbled by their long-running support and passionate response, because it's always been my goal to make people happy through enjoying a great sandwich."

Snarf's will be kicking things off with a Golden Ticket promotion beginning April 15. For two months, Golden Tickets will be wrapped in Snarf's sandwiches to be found by unassuming customers. The winner of each golden ticket will receive free Snarf's for one year.

"Our 20^th birthday gives us the chance to pause and be thankful for our history, while at the same time we're very excited about our future," Seidel said.

The company has plans for 8-10 new stores in the Front Range over the next 2-3 years, along with new locations in the Texas, St. Louis and Chicago markets. This spring, Snarf's will open its fourth Boulder location and 13th in Colorado at 627 S. Broadway St. in South Boulder.

"Considering it all started in a rundown 600 square foot shack in Boulder, it's simply amazing to think about," Seidel added. "We are so incredibly appreciative of the support our 450+ team members and the incredible loyalty of our Snarfers, and look forward to celebrating with them throughout 2016."

The company has additional 20th anniversary events planned throughout the year including a charitable giving day where a percentage of sales from every store will be donated to local organizations. More details including a date will be announced soon.
