LOS ANGELES, June 23, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Available today, the Pikkup app introduces a marketplace to connect truck drivers with goods that need a ride. It allows Los Angeles locals a stress-free moving option and, for those with a truck, a business opportunity.
A brand new on-demand, peer-to-peer moving service that connects insured truck drivers with people who need to move goods now or later. Smart phone users familiar with Uber and Lyft can enjoy the same background-checked and insured drivers to transport goods to a desired drop-off spot at their leisure. An interactive calendar makes requesting a timely appointment easy. An in-app camera feature helps us match the size of the load with the best driver and truck for the job as well as estimate pricing. A live GPS feed provides users with ETAs and allows movers to track routes taken toward the destination.
