DIGITAL UNIVERSE, Aug. 29, 2011 /PRNewswire/ - A worldwide network of digital gurus has created a revolutionary social networking campaign to fight the famine in the Horn of Africa.
WWW.FAMINENOMORE.ORG is the collaboration of aid agency digital experts working for World Vision in New Zealand, Canada, United States, UK and Asia, and Africa.

FAMINENOMORE.ORG works by having one global URL that recognizes the country you are logged in from to ensure your donation goes to the World Vision agency member country that you live in.The social media campaign is using sites like Facebook, Twitter with hashtag #faminenomore and urges users to share stories on You Tube or on personal blogs.
All of the money raised goes directly toward our long term projects we are building on in Kenya, Somalia, Ethiopia and Uganda.," says Carroll.
The campaign's is running in conjunction with the Canadian government's matching program, which ends September 16. Ottawa will match any Canadian Donations given through FAMINENOMORE.ORG.
