SOCIETY Charlotte Magazine to Launch May 30
Monthly publication will showcase local non-profit organizations, their supporters and the exciting events that highlight their efforts.
CHARLOTTE, N.C., April 4, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- SOCIETY Charlotte is a free monthly magazine celebrating Charlotte's philanthropies and the people who support them. The magazine will be published by Tribute Communications, which is owned by Paige Roselle and Craig Moon, retired Publisher of USA Today.
The goal of the monthly magazine is to publish exciting and informative news and photos about Charlotte's philanthropic events.
"Charlotte is such an impressive city and a large part of that is our philanthropy. Our community deserves a publication that truly focuses on these organizations and their supporters," Roselle said.
Additional content in SOCIETY Charlotte will highlight local businesses, along with regular columns that will include, among other topics, wine, fashion, dining and design.
Roselle, of Charlotte, has played an active role in numerous and diverse community organizations including serving as founding member and Chairman of the Board of Pat's Place Child Advocacy Center; serving on the boards of the Mint Museum Auxiliary and Opera Carolina, and as a teacher sponsor with Teach for America.
The first SOCIETY Charlotte will be available on Wednesday, May 30, at local retail and dining locations. Thereafter, it will be available on the last Wednesday of each month.
