Shannon Easter Wins Overall and National 2016 Environmental Leaders in Golf Awards

Shannon Easter, golf consultant for Sod Solutions, recently was honored by Golf Course Superintendents Association of America (GCSSA) as the Overall and National Private recipient of the 2016 Environmental Leaders in Golf Awards (ELGA).
Shannon Easter, maintenance director and environmental consultant at Broken Sound Club in Boca Raton, Fla., has been actively using Sod Solutions turfgrass varieties, Amp Agronomy™ products and most recently, became a consultant with Sod Solutions in January 2016. Easter recently completed a wall to wall renovation featuring Celebration® Bermudagrass and the greens were Sunday™ Ultra-Dwarf Bermudagrass.

An independent panel of judges representing national environmental groups, turfgrass experts, university researchers and valued members of the golf industry conducted the award selection.
