
Sodexo Guam Selected as Food Service Provider for Public Schools
Sodexo to Deliver Enhanced Child Nutrition Program for K-12 Schools This Fall
GAITHERSBURG, Md., July 27, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Sodexo Guam, Inc., leading Quality of Daily Life Solutions company, announced today the award of a contract from the Guam Department of Education Child Nutrition Program to provide food services to K-12 schools on the island starting in August for the new school year.
"We look forward to working together with the Guam Public Schools team to deliver healthy and nutritious meals to the children in the district," says Sodexo Business Development Director Joe Majka. "We have many new programs we will be implementing in the schools over the next several months, including a breakfast in the classroom experience."
Sodexo operates additional food and facilities management contracts on Guam in both the education and defense segments.
