Sokin launches MCP connector: customers' AI can now line up payments in minutes

The MCP lets a finance team use AI such as Chat GPT, Claude, Gemini and Perplexity for a range of tasks such as creating a live cash position estimate or preparing a cross-border payment for approval without leaving the conversation.

In addition to information retrieval, the MCP connector can create a beneficiary, prepare a currency exchange between supported wallets, and prepare a payment. In each case, the customer's AI tool assembles the instruction and presents the full details. The customer confirms, and where the customer has configured approval rules, the instruction follows that flow before execution.

In testing, Sokin's MCP connector handled 10 multi-currency invoices and treasury moves in under 10 minutes, giving accounts payable teams hours back that they would normally spend keying them in by hand. Each payment still waits for human confirmation before it runs on licensed rails.
