Sol Names A+E Global Media's Dan Silberman Head of Marketing & Communications

Veteran media executive joins the business and IT transformation firm as its Media & Entertainment practice scales

Silberman joins the firm after twenty years at A+E Global Media, where he most recently served as Executive Vice President of Communications. He reports to Sol Managing Partner Kaan Aslansan and will be based in New York.

Silberman will own Sol's brand, marketing and communications strategy end to end, covering positioning and narrative, earned media, content and thought leadership, digital presence, internal communications and reputation management, with the work tied to pipeline and growth.  Sol takes enterprise clients from AI strategy to live implementation, including agentic AI systems, workflow modernization and workforce transformation, with a core focus in Media, Entertainment & AdTech, as well as state and local government and education (SLED).

He arrives during the firm's fastest period of expansion. Sol has built out a dedicated AI Acceleration practice under Steve Miller, formerly Chief Digital Officer at Xerox, with former Xerox CEO Steven Bandrowczak as senior advisor, taking clients from diagnosis to live agentic systems. Sol also recently launched its first industry-aligned practice, Media, Entertainment and AdTech, under newly appointed practice lead Ashley J. Swartz.

Silberman joins from A+E Global Media, where he led media relations, corporate and internal communications, crisis management, social strategy and talent relations for The HISTORY Channel, A&E Network, A+E Factual Studios and Oscar-winning feature division A&E IndieFilms, brands reaching more than 400 million households across 200 territories. Earlier, at NBCUniversal, he led press and publicity for Bravo Media, overseeing a full rebrand from its performing-arts roots, launching Queer Eye and Project Runway, and helping transform the network into a pop-culture phenomenon.  He began his career at New York's preeminent public relations firm, Rubenstein Communications, and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy, Politics & Law from Binghamton University. He has been named to The Hollywood Reporter's Next Gen list and Multichannel News' 40 Under 40, received the CableFAX Award for PR Executive of the Year, and serves on the Board of Directors of LMC Media, the largest tri-state area community media center outside of New York City.
