New additions bring over 50 years of collective experience in the solar industry, real estate, and financing.

The additions come as SolaREIT continues to scale its capital solutions business that has financed the real estate under more than $7.5 billion in clean energy project value since 2020. SolaREIT's flexible capital solutions help developers and landowners monetize land and lease value, free up capital, and reduce lease costs.

Marisa McCurdy, General Counsel
McCurdy brings more than two decades of energy and project finance legal experience, spanning the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission's Honors Law Program, the energy and project finance groups at Kirkland & Ellis and Hogan Lovells, an in-house role at SunEdison, and her own practice serving solar, EV, and battery storage clients. 

Kevin Russo, Director of Financial Planning and Analysis
Russo comes to SolaREIT with more than a dozen years of financial experience, including 10 years at Elme Communities, a publicly traded multifamily REIT, where he worked across FP&A, treasury, capital markets, and investor relations.

Daniel Leppert, Transaction Counsel
Leppert brings nearly 20 years of renewable energy and real estate legal experience, including in-house roles at Community Energy and SunShare, where he supported the development of hundreds of megawatts of solar. He has also served as real estate counsel for Richmond American, a national homebuilder, and Unison Infrastructure, a renewable energy and wireless lease aggregator.
