Soles4Souls, Inc. to Provide Relief 'Drive Thru' at Headquarters for Nashville Flood Victims

NASHVILLE, Tenn., May 12 /PRNewswire/ -- Soles4Souls, Inc., the shoe charity, is hoping to simplify the aid process for flood victims who need assistance by setting up a relief 'drive thru' at their World Headquarters in Old Hickory on Friday.  The charity will be providing shoes, bottled water, food, and clothing in a convenient drive-up manner from 2:00 pm - 7:00 pm on May 14th for the victims of the heavy rains and floodwaters that caused 30 deaths and ruined thousands of homes in Middle Tennessee.

Soles4Souls will be distributing thousands of shoes, along with more than 1 million bottles of water and Gatorade to those devastated by the flood.  The goal is to provide these products in an expedient fashion for victims who have little time to track down the help they need.  The distribution will take place at the headquarters at 319 Martingale Lane in Old Hickory, Tennessee.

"A lot of the folks in Middle Tennessee lost everything, and most had to return to work almost immediately," said Wayne Elsey, Founder and CEO of Soles4Souls.  "We know how disheartening it can be when you are trying to rebuild your life while life is still happening to you.  We hope that by consolidating this aid and making it accessible to people without having to leave their car, this will persuade those victims with little time to come out and get what they need," he said.

Soles4Souls has already distributed thousands of shoes to the victims in Middle Tennessee.  The distribution on Friday is a part of the commitment the charity has made to help those affected by the flood begin to rebuild their lives.
