Solix, Inc. Appoints Stuart Waldrum CIO
Company Realigns Internally to Reflect Significant Growth & Future Expansion Plans for Government & Commercial Markets
PARSIPPANY, N.J., April 11, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Solix, Inc., a leading provider of government and commercial process outsourcing solutions that administers more than $6 billion on behalf of its clients, today announced it has named Stuart Waldrum as Vice President and Chief Information Officer. Waldrum comes to Solix as part of an ongoing strategic plan that addresses the company's growth while modifying its internal structure to better position it for future development. Cathy Rahlfs, who had been serving as the company's CIO, will assume the role of Corporate Compliance Officer in order to dedicate her focus on issues concerning data privacy and security.
A veteran of the industry, Waldrum brings to Solix an extensive background in developing, integrating, expanding and managing various technology systems as well as related organizational support structures. Prior to coming to Solix, Waldrum served ADP for nearly 30 years and was most recently Vice President of Information Technology and CIO at ADP Small Business Services. His positions also included Vice President of Financial Systems (ADP Employer Services), Senior Director of Internal Systems Development (ADP Employer Services) and Director of ADP Commercial Services.
"Stuart's considerable information technology experience coupled with his understanding of Solix' role as a provider of outsourced solutions is a valuable asset," said Solix President and CEO John C. Parry. "As we continue to build upon the success we have achieved, Stuart will provide critical support for that growth and enable us to devote Cathy Rahlfs to the crucial responsibility of ensuring that as we grow, our compliance with ongoing state and federal regulations is met, and the integrity of data privacy and security is not compromised."
Waldrum's appointment comes during a period of sustained growth for Solix which has included significant client renewals and new signings in the government sector along with a successful entry into the commercial market. The company's commitment to provide more services for clients was realized through an acquisition last year that provides customer care services such as Live Agent Teleservices, Click-to-Chat, Automated Interactive Voice Services and Fulfillment Management. A previous acquisition added grant lifecycle management and peer-review services to the company's portfolio of program management and process outsourcing services.
"Solix has earned a stellar reputation through the service and flexibility it offers its customers and a key component to this is providing exceptional technology support," said Waldrum. "I'm excited to join the company at this time of growth and look forward to helping Solix achieve even greater success."
Government clients choose Solix to manage public benefit programs ranging from funding for schools, libraries and healthcare facilities to qualifying low-income consumers for discounted utility services and reviewing grant requests for scientific research. Commercial clients choose Solix to simplify and manage customer contact operations as well as processes often related to meeting regulatory requirements.
