"Solo Up for Anything™ Design Challenge" Seeks Input for Future Plate Designs
LAKE FOREST, Ill., Aug. 15, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Dart Container Corporation is asking consumers to help design the future look of Solo® Heavy Duty paper plates by participating in the "Solo® Up for Anything™ Design Challenge" on Facebook August 15 through September 27. Participants can go to www.facebook.com/solocup to share ideas, vote for their favorite entries and win up to $2,000 in prizes.
Each day contestants can upload an image of a plate they've designed or something that inspires them and/or vote for their top picks. The three that receive the most votes from Solo's® Facebook community during the promotion period will win $500-$2,000 gift cards and Solo® prize packs. In addition, once a week a randomly chosen participant will receive a $25 gift card and a Solo® prize pack. Top winners will be announced September 30. (Please see www.facebook.com/solocup for official rules.)
"What do you find visually appealing? What turns your average day into something a bit more special? That's what we want you to share," explained Kim Healy, Dart Container's Vice President for Consumer Products Marketing. "You don't need to be an artist to participate. It could be a place you want to visit, a piece of art, something in nature—anything that lifts your spirit and brings a smile to your face. We want to see what inspires people and bring those concepts to life with our Heavy Duty paper plate designs."
