Solstice Benefits Sets Aggressive Heart Walk Goal

Participants will have the opportunity to raise funds for the American Heart Association, as they take a 5K walk around the campus in support of cardiovascular research.

As the Heart Walk's 2011 Top Small Business Fundraiser award recipient, the Solstice Benefits team is gearing up for another triumphant turnout at the Heart Walk. Last year, the Solstice organization raised an astounding $18,600 for the event. At the recent kick-off for the 2012 Heart Walk, Solstice Benefits employees agreed that they would double the company goal to $30,000. The team is forecasting a promising outcome, and has already begun arranging fundraisers and contacting local businesses and organizations for support and involvement.

The photo booth made its debut at the Solstice tent last year and was a hit with the families and participants of the walk as they received a keepsake photo strip.
