Solta Medical Announces Sponsorship of Fresh Express Classic at the TPC Stonebrae

HAYWARD, Calif., March 29 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Solta Medical, Inc. (Nasdaq: SLTM), a global leader in the medical aesthetics market and maker of the industry's three premier brands: Thermage®, Fraxel®, and Isolaz®, today announced its association as a sponsor of professional golf's Fresh Express Classic™ at TPC Stonebrae.  A Nationwide Tour™ event, the Fresh Express Classic will be held from April 12 through April 18, 2010, at one of the best new golf courses in the U.S., with breathtaking views of the San Francisco Bay.  The tournament will include a series of events for fans and families including a celebrity pro-am led by Pro Football Hall of Fame wide receiver Jerry Rice, who also serves as the official Tournament Host for the Fresh Express Classic.  All four rounds of competition will be televised on the Golf Channel.  

In addition to watching Bay Area legendary athletes and the Nationwide Tour's array of world-class golfers, fans and participants will be treated to on-site skin consultations courtesy of Solta Medical and its partner physicians.  Thermage, Fraxel and Isolaz provide consumers with safe and effective ways to treat a range of skin conditions including sun damage and skin laxity.  At the event, Solta Medical will showcase the new Fraxel re:store Dual laser for skin resurfacing and treating Actinic Keratoses (AK) – a precancerous skin condition caused by sun exposure. In addition to offering skin education during the tournament, Solta Medical will team up with Nationwide Tour professional Kyle Reifers during the Fresh Express Classic to help spread the word about the importance of skin protection.  Kyle, 26, who has one victory on the Nationwide Tour, will kick off the event with a skin evaluation of his own.
