CINCINNATI, Jan. 27, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- RSW/US, the Nation's #1 outsourced lead generation & business development firm for marketing agencies released their latest survey report: The 2014 Agency-Marketer New Year Outlook Report. The survey was completed by 150 senior level marketers and 170 marketing agency executives during December, 2013.
Reebok, Acura, MetLife and Hilton were among the marketers represented in the survey, with the agency sample including execs from shops like Leo Burnett, DDB, JWT and Y&R.
The RSW/US survey covered a range of topics related to the New Year including ad agency new business, the value of inbound marketing, marketer/agency expectations in 2014, the importance of agency specialization, and the continuing evolution of digital and the future of advertising.
So what's the good news for marketing agencies?
Marketers surveyed stated they plan an increase in marketing spends this year. 50% of Marketers expect to either "somewhat" or "significantly" increase their marketing spends in 2014 (as compared to only 38% in 2013, 41% in 2012 and 2011). Only 27% of marketers think their spending levels will decrease in 2014.

According to the survey, 60% of marketing agencies expect their marketing counterparts to increase spends in 2014.
