Sonesta Gwinnett Place Atlanta Unveils Complete Hotel Redesign by Atlanta-Based Sims Patrick Studio

DULUTH, Ga., Sept. 25, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Sonesta Gwinnett Place Atlanta officially completed renovation of its 426 guestrooms and suites, lobby and function space on Thursday, September 18. The property partnered with local Atlanta firm Sims Patrick Studio on the remodel and the resulting renovation, themed around "Southern charm meets modernism." The design team found inspiration from local topography, Lake Lanier and the surrounding Duluth County residential architecture for inspiration. Property renovations include:

• Enhanced Guestrooms and suites; furnishings, new carpet, new beds and fresh all-white bedding, HD 40" TV's and new lighting to create a crisp and modern space for guests to enjoy.
• A new Lobby design featuring an eclectic selection of furniture and elegant fabrics chosen to create a residential living space for guests. The public space features bold carpet patterns and eye-catching wall features to create a vibrant, welcoming entrance.
• Function rooms feature a new simple and contemporary look and feel, providing the perfect venue for a variety of events –from business to social gatherings.
