MADISON, Wis, Jan. 27, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Sonic Foundry, Inc. (NASDAQ: SOFO), the trusted market leader for enterprise webcasting and lecture capture, today announced a partnership with Elite Meetings International (EMI) to webcast three Elite Meetings Alliance (EMA) conferences live in 2012.
Elite Meetings provides integrated solutions to enhance the performance of meeting and hospitality professionals. This year, it will bring hundreds of meeting planners and luxury hotel professionals together at EMAs in Rancho Mirage, California, Dallas, Texas and Atlantic City, New Jersey. Participants can register online for the hybrid conferences, the first of which will be held January 29-31 in Rancho Mirage. They will be webcast live to an online audience via Mediasite Events by Sonic Foundry, a Gold Level Partner.
"Our EMAs are unique industry forums for meeting professionals and the finest luxury hotels to connect on many levels. By adding a webcasting component, live via Mediasite Events, it will now be possible to watch selected EMA sessions online. This not only boosts participation but also raises awareness about Elite Meetings to a larger audience," said Kelly Foy, Elite's CEO.
