Soundcore Announces Michael Khutorsky's Promotion to Partner

NEW YORK, May 7, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Soundcore Capital Partners, LP ("Soundcore"), a New York–based private equity firm, is pleased to announce that Michael Khutorsky has been promoted to Partner.

Mr. Khutorsky joined Soundcore in 2025 as a Senior Managing Director on the Investment Team and has been a leader in driving the firm's investment strategy and portfolio growth. He serves on the Board of Directors of TreeServe, LLC and Reliable Energy Partners, two platforms in Soundcore's Fund III, which closed in February 2026 with $450 million of capital commitments and total demand in excess of its self-imposed hard cap. As a Partner, Mr. Khutorsky will continue to oversee all aspects of the investment process including sourcing, diligence, transaction structuring, financing, and post-closing value creation strategies, in addition to taking on broader leadership responsibilities within the firm.

Mr. Khutorsky has extensive private equity expertise, with nearly two decades of buyout investing experience across multiple sectors. Prior to Soundcore, Mr. Khutorsky was a Managing Director at ORIX Capital Partners, focusing on industrial and infrastructure services investments. He also held senior investment roles at TZP Group, Tower Three Partners, and Turnspire Capital Partners. Mr. Khutorsky began his private equity career as a Vice President at Trilantic Capital Partners, following earlier positions as a restructuring and turnaround advisor at Alvarez & Marsal, and as part of the M&A group at Soundview Technology Group. He earned an M.B.A. from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, an M.A. International Studies from The Lauder Institute at the University of Pennsylvania, and a B.S. in Finance and International Business from New York University's Stern School of Business.
