Soundcore Announces the Addition of Two Senior Investment Team Members

NEW YORK, June 30, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Soundcore Capital Partners, LP ("Soundcore") a New-York based private equity firm, is pleased to announce two new senior Investment Team hires, marking Soundcore's largest and most experienced team yet. Michael Khutorsky joins Soundcore as a Senior Managing Director and Katy Kasser joins Soundcore as a Principal.

As a Senior Managing Director on the Investment Team, Michael Khutorsky will be responsible for all aspects of the investment process, including sourcing, diligence, transaction structuring, financing, and post-closing value creation strategies. Khutorsky has more than 18 years of private equity investing experience across a wide range of industries. Prior to joining Soundcore, Mr. Khutorsky was a Managing Director at ORIX Capital Partners, where he focused on industrial and infrastructure services investments.  He previously held a senior investment role at TZP Group, where he overlapped with Investment Team Partner Jonathan Tanenbaum, as well as senior investment roles at Tower Three Partners and Turnspire Capital Partners. Mr. Khutorsky began his private equity career at Trilantic Capital Partners, where he was a Vice President. Earlier in his career, Mr. Khutorsky was a restructuring and turnaround advisor at Alvarez & Marsal, and part of the M&A group of Soundview Technology Group, a technology-focused investment bank. He received a Master of Business Administration from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania, a Master of Arts degree in International Studies from the Lauder Institute at the University of Pennsylvania, and a Bachelor of Science in Finance and International Business from the Stern School of Business at New York University.

As a Principal on the Investment Team, Katy Kasser will be responsible for leading deal execution, thesis development and portfolio company oversight. Prior to joining Soundcore, Kasser was a Vice President at Incline Equity Partners, where she was responsible for transaction execution and portfolio company monitoring. Prior to joining Incline, Kasser was a Vice President at Dominus Capital Partners, where she sourced, executed and monitored investments in business services and industrials companies. Prior to Dominus, Kasser was a Senior Associate at Prospect Capital. Prior to Prospect, she was an Associate at Corporate Partners. Katy began her career at Wells Fargo Securities in its M&A group. She received a B.A. in accounting from the University of Florida and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.
