Sounders FC and Outerwall Team Up for Local Veterans
Every Home Goal to Benefit Fisher House Foundation
SEATTLE, Nov. 6, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- In honor of Veterans Day, Sounders FC and Outerwall Inc. (Nasdaq: OUTR) are teaming up to support Fisher House Foundation. Each time Sounders FC scores a goal against FC Dallas during Monday's MLS Western Conference Semifinals at CenturyLink Field, Outerwall and Sounders FC will donate $1,500 to Fisher House to support military families in the Seattle area. Fisher House Foundation is a network of comfort homes where military and veterans' families can stay at no cost while a loved one is receiving treatment.
Sounders FC will also donate four tickets to a 2015 home match and four tickets to the Field Club pre-match experience for each Sounders goal scored. The two organizations will continue to make donations to Fisher House Foundation for each goal the team scores at home as the team advances in the 2014 MLS Cup Playoffs.
The donations will support military families at both the Veteran Affairs Puget Sound Fisher House and the Joint Base Lewis-McChord Fisher House.
In addition, Outerwall will honor veterans continuously throughout Monday's game with field level LED signage displaying the message "Outerwall thanks veterans for creating a better everyday. We're inspired by you."

Fisher House is an Outerwall Community Connection grantee and has received more than $15,000 in support this year.
