South Florida Public Relations Firm Duree & Company Wins National Stevie® Award For Entrepreneurship

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla., Nov. 16, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Duree & Company, Inc., a Fort Lauderdale-based full-service public relations, marketing and special events firm, was recently awarded a national business recognition: the Stevie® Award for Women in Business.

On Nov. 9, firm founder and president Duree Mellion Ross was given the Bronze Award for her firm's demonstrated success, after the company was named a finalist in the prestigious American Business Awards for Women in Business, also known as The Stevie Awards. Duree & Company won in the category of firms with fewer than 10 employees.

The Stevie Awards for Women in Business are the world's premier awards for women executives, entrepreneurs, and the organizations they run. The awards ceremony was held in New York, N.Y., where Ross attended with her family.
