Southern California McDonald's® Celebrates St. Patrick's Day with Triple-Thick Shamrock Shakes
LOS ANGELES, Feb. 10, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Southern California McDonald's® restaurants are bringing back Shamrock Shakes in celebration of St. Patrick's Day. From now until March 25, customers can experience the delicious minty taste of Triple-Thick Shamrock Shakes topped with whipped cream and a cherry at participating McDonald's restaurants in Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino and Ventura counties, while supplies last.
"Shamrock Shakes have been synonymous with St. Patrick's Day for over 30 years," said Michael Mangione, Jr., McDonald's owner/operator and president of the McDonald's Operator's Association of Southern California (MOASC). "We're thrilled to bring back Shamrock Shakes for our customers to celebrate this time of the year."
Introduced in 1970 as a St. Patrick's Day promotion, the Shamrock Shake quickly became the ultimate celebration of everything green and Irish. It is available in 12, 16, or 22 oz. sizes starting at $1.89. Prices and participation may vary.
MOASC is comprised of more than 600 franchised and company-owned restaurants in the counties of Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino and Ventura.
