Southlake Town Square Announces Plans to Open Athleta, Sundance, Lily Rain and Z Gallerie

SOUTHLAKE, Texas, Sept. 15, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Southlake Town Square, a premier lifestyle destination owned and operated by a subsidiary of Retail Properties of America, Inc. (NYSE: RPAI), is excited to announce the addition of four new retail brands: Athleta, Sundance, Lily Rain and Z Gallerie.

Athleta, a GAP fitness apparel brand designed by female athletes, creates versatile and fashionable performance and lifestyle apparel for the fitness-minded woman who lives life on-the-go. Offering apparel and gear for a range of activities from yoga and spin to strength training and running, as well as seasonal sports like tennis and skiing, Athleta will exercise its right to performance fashion in a 4,100 square foot space at 128 State St., next to Soft Surroundings. Athleta joins GAP Inc.'s team of brands at Southlake Town Square, which includes Gap, GapKids, babyGap and Banana Republic. Athleta is expected to open as early as spring of 2016.

Founded by famed actor and director Robert Redford, Sundance is the retail manifestation of his premier lifestyle brand, offering a thoughtfully curated mix of unique, premium-quality men's and women's apparel, jewelry, accessories, footwear, art, furniture and home decor. The new location at Southlake Town Square will be the first in Tarrant County and only the second in the state of Texas. The 3,500 square foot store will be located at 331 Grand Avenue, next to Brighton and across from Boston Proper.  Sundance is expected to open in the spring of 2016.

Also opening is Lily Rain, a Texas-based clothing and lifestyle store where shoppers can browse an interesting, unexpected assortment of smart fashion finds, including apparel and accessories, as well as original home decor and gifts. Lily Rain is already a favorite shopping destination at The Shops at Legacy, a neighboring RPAI property located in Plano, TX. Shoppers in Southlake will delight in the unexpected whimsy the store offers in its 2,400 square foot space, which is expected to open in late 2015 at 215 Grand Ave., next to the new luxury beauty retailer bluemercury.

Z Gallerie, a contemporary home-goods retailer specializing in stylish and chic furniture and decor, will open in a new retail building near The Container Store. Z Gallerie will occupy 8,000 square feet of the total 12,000 square foot retail building, and construction is set to begin this fall.
