Spanish Drug Companies Have New Support Option for the U.S. Market

BARCELONA, Spain, July 19, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Spanish drug companies face a number of obstacles to commercialize products or technologies in the United States.  From regulatory (FDA) and GMP compliance, to distribution agreements and the search for project funding, there are many areas that must be coordinated.  Those issues have just become easier to manage as Spanish company KIM and U.S. company VPCI have entered into a joint association.  The collaboration will provide Spanish pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical device companies the necessary support for compliance and commercialization of their products or know-how in the U.S. market.
